PROMOTION DESCRIPTION
The “CON DOMINGO GANAS – KQQK EL NORTE 107.9 2026” Promotion (the “Promotion”) begins on Monday, September 14, 2026 at 6:00:00 a.m. Central Time (“CT”) and ends on Friday, October 2, 2026 at 9:59:59 a.m. CT (the “Promotion Period”).
During the Promotion Period, KQQK-FM El Norte 107.9 (“Station”) will conduct eighteen (18) designated on-air winning opportunities in which eligible listeners will have an opportunity to win one (1) Visa®/Mastercard® gift card valued at One Hundred Seven Dollars and Ninety Cents ($107.90) and automatically qualify for the Promotion’s Grand Prize Drawing.
A total of eighteen (18) qualifying prize winners will be selected during the Promotion Period, subject to verification of eligibility and compliance with these Official Rules.
Each verified qualifying prize winner will automatically receive one (1) entry into the Grand Prize Drawing for the opportunity to win one (1) additional Visa®/Mastercard® gift card valued at One Thousand Seven Dollars ($1,007.00).
The Grand Prize Drawing will take place on Friday, October 2, 2026 at approximately 10:00 a.m. CT.
Entry into this Promotion does not constitute entry into any other promotion, contest, or sweepstakes.
By participating in the Promotion, each participant unconditionally accepts and agrees to comply with and abide by these Official Rules and the decisions of Estrella MediaCo, a trade name of MediaCo Operations LLC, 1 Estrella Way, Burbank, CA 91504 (“Sponsor”), whose decisions shall be final and binding in all matters relating to this Promotion.
ELIGIBILITY
The Promotion is open only to legal residents of the State of Texas who are eighteen (18) years of age or older at the time of entry.
Officers, directors, employees, agents, and representatives of Sponsor, KQQK-FM, their respective parent companies, subsidiaries, affiliates, advertising and promotion agencies, prize providers, promotional partners, and any other entities involved in the development, administration, promotion, or fulfillment of this Promotion (collectively, the “Promotion Entities”), as well as members of their immediate families and persons residing in the same households, are not eligible to enter or win.
“Immediate family” includes spouse, parents, children, siblings, grandparents, and grandchildren, whether biological, adoptive, step, or in-law.
The Promotion is void where prohibited or restricted by law.
HOW TO ENTER AND WIN A QUALIFYING PRIZE
During the Promotion Period, eligible listeners must listen to KQQK-FM El Norte 107.9 for a designated on-air cue inviting listeners to participate in the Promotion.
Following each designated cue, listeners will be instructed to send the phrase “CON DOMINGO GANAS” via WhatsApp to the El Norte 107.9 WhatsApp number at 832-272-0472.
For each designated winning opportunity, the first eligible participant whose WhatsApp message containing the correct phrase is received by the Station after the designated on-air cue, as determined solely by Sponsor and/or Station records, will be designated the potential winner of one (1) qualifying prize, subject to verification.
Messages received before the designated cue, after a winner has already been determined for that opportunity, containing an incorrect phrase, or otherwise failing to comply with these Official Rules will not be eligible for that particular winning opportunity.
Sponsor’s and/or Station’s equipment, systems, records, and timestamps shall be the official timekeeping and determining mechanism for establishing the order in which WhatsApp messages are received.
Potential winners may be required to provide their full legal name, date of birth, valid email address, mailing address, telephone number, and any other information reasonably required by Sponsor to verify eligibility and award the prize.
Participants may attempt to participate in more than one designated winning opportunity until they have been confirmed as a qualifying prize winner.
Limit one (1) qualifying prize per person and per household during the entire Promotion Period.
Once a participant has been confirmed as a qualifying prize winner, additional attempts by that individual to win another qualifying prize during this Promotion will be disregarded.
Standard messaging, wireless, and/or data charges may apply according to the participant’s wireless service plan. Participants are solely responsible for any such charges.
QUALIFYING PRIZES
A total of eighteen (18) qualifying prizes will be awarded during the Promotion Period.
Each qualifying prize consists of one (1) Visa®/Mastercard® gift card with an approximate retail value (“ARV”) of $107.90.
Gift cards are subject to all terms, conditions, limitations, expiration policies, and restrictions imposed by the applicable card issuer.
The total ARV of all eighteen (18) qualifying prizes is $1,942.20.
Each verified qualifying prize winner will also automatically receive one (1) entry into the Grand Prize Drawing.
GRAND PRIZE DRAWING
One (1) Grand Prize winner will be selected at random from among all verified eligible qualifying prize winners.
The Grand Prize Drawing will take place on Friday, October 2, 2026 at approximately 10:00 a.m. CT.
The selected Grand Prize winner will be notified using the contact information provided to the Station during the Promotion.
If the selected potential Grand Prize winner cannot be contacted, does not respond within the time specified by Sponsor, is found to be ineligible, fails to comply with these Official Rules, fails to provide required documentation, or declines the Grand Prize, the potential winner may be disqualified and Sponsor may, in its sole discretion, select an alternate winner from among the remaining eligible qualifying prize winners.
GRAND PRIZE
The Grand Prize consists of one (1) Visa®/Mastercard® gift card valued at $1,007.00.
The Grand Prize winner will retain the qualifying prize previously won and will additionally receive the $1,007.00 Grand Prize.
The approximate retail value of the Grand Prize is $1,007.00.
The total aggregate approximate retail value of all prizes available in the Promotion is $2,949.20.
ODDS OF WINNING
The odds of winning a qualifying prize depend upon the number of eligible listeners participating in each designated on-air winning opportunity and the order in which eligible WhatsApp messages are received by the Station.
The odds of winning the Grand Prize depend upon the total number of verified eligible qualifying prize winners entered into the Grand Prize Drawing. If all eighteen (18) qualifying winners are verified and entered into the Grand Prize Drawing, each qualifying winner will have one (1) entry in the drawing.
WINNER NOTIFICATION AND PRIZE CLAIM
All potential winners are subject to verification of eligibility and compliance with these Official Rules before any prize is officially awarded.
Potential winners may be required to execute and return an Affidavit of Eligibility, Liability Release, Publicity Release, prize acknowledgment/release form, IRS Form W-9, and/or other documentation reasonably requested by Sponsor.
Potential winners may also be required to provide a valid government-issued photo identification verifying their identity, age, and eligibility.
If required documents are not completed and returned within the period specified by Sponsor, the potential winner may be disqualified and the prize forfeited.
Sponsor reserves the right, in its sole discretion, to determine the method by which prizes will be delivered or claimed.
TAXES
All federal, state, and local taxes, if any, associated with the acceptance or use of a prize are solely the responsibility of the applicable winner.
Winners may be required to provide taxpayer information, including a completed IRS Form W-9, and Sponsor may issue any applicable tax reporting forms as required by law.
GENERAL PRIZE CONDITIONS
Prizes are non-transferable and may not be assigned, sold, or exchanged.
No cash alternative or substitution of a prize will be permitted except that Sponsor reserves the right, in its sole discretion, to substitute a prize of equal or greater value if an advertised prize becomes unavailable.
All gift cards are subject to the terms, conditions, restrictions, and policies of the applicable issuer.
Any difference between the stated approximate retail value and the actual value of a prize will not be awarded. Under no circumstances will Sponsor’s total liability to any participant exceed the value of the applicable prize won or to be awarded to that participant.
Prizes will be awarded only if the applicable winner fully complies with these Official Rules.
All prizes are provided “AS IS” without warranty of any kind, express or implied, including without limitation any implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement.
TECHNICAL AND PARTICIPATION CONDITIONS
Sponsor and the Promotion Entities are not responsible for late, lost, misdirected, delayed, incomplete, corrupted, interrupted, or undelivered WhatsApp messages or other communications.
Sponsor and the Promotion Entities are also not responsible for wireless network failures, Internet outages, telecommunications failures, equipment malfunctions, software errors, human errors, technical delays, congestion, or any other problem that may interfere with participation in the Promotion.
Proof that a participant attempted to transmit a WhatsApp message does not constitute proof that the message was actually received by the Station.
Any attempt to manipulate, automate, interfere with, or otherwise gain an unfair advantage in the entry process may result in immediate disqualification.
Sponsor reserves the right to disqualify any participant who, in Sponsor’s sole discretion, tampers with the Promotion, violates these Official Rules, acts fraudulently or deceptively, uses multiple accounts, phone numbers, or identities to circumvent entry or prize limitations, or engages in disruptive, threatening, harassing, or unsportsmanlike conduct.
PROMOTION MODIFICATION, SUSPENSION OR CANCELLATION
Sponsor reserves the right to modify, suspend, extend, terminate, or cancel the Promotion if fraud, technical failures, unauthorized intervention, force majeure events, or any other circumstances beyond Sponsor’s reasonable control impair or affect the administration, security, fairness, integrity, or proper operation of the Promotion.
If the Promotion is terminated before its scheduled conclusion, Sponsor may, where practical and permitted by law, award any remaining prizes from among eligible entries received prior to termination.
Sponsor’s decisions regarding any modification, suspension, cancellation, or termination of the Promotion shall be final.
PUBLICITY AND RELEASE
Except where prohibited by law, acceptance of a prize constitutes permission for Sponsor and the Promotion Entities to use the winner’s name, voice, photograph, likeness, city and state of residence, statements, and/or biographical information for advertising, publicity, promotional, and other lawful purposes in any media now known or later developed, worldwide and in perpetuity, without additional compensation, notification, or permission.
By participating, entrants agree to release and hold harmless Sponsor, KQQK-FM, the Promotion Entities, prize providers, and each of their respective parent companies, affiliates, subsidiaries, officers, directors, employees, representatives, agents, successors, and assigns from any and all claims, losses, damages, liabilities, injuries (including death and property damage), costs, or expenses of any kind arising from or relating to participation in the Promotion, the acceptance, possession, use, or misuse of any prize, or any prize-related activity, whether known or unknown at the time of entry, except where prohibited by law.
WHATSAPP / META DISCLAIMER
This Promotion is not sponsored, endorsed, administered by, or associated with WhatsApp LLC, Meta Platforms, Inc., or any of their respective affiliates.
Participants understand that they are providing their information to Sponsor and not to WhatsApp or Meta.
GOVERNING LAW / JURISDICTION
All issues and questions concerning the construction, validity, interpretation, and enforceability of these Official Rules or the rights and obligations of participants and Sponsor in connection with the Promotion shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of Texas, without giving effect to any choice-of-law or conflict-of-law provisions.
All disputes arising out of or relating to these Official Rules or the Promotion shall be resolved by binding arbitration as set forth below, except that Sponsor may seek injunctive or other equitable relief in any court of competent jurisdiction. To the extent any dispute is not subject to binding arbitration, participants consent to the exclusive jurisdiction and venue of the appropriate state or federal courts situated in Harris County, Texas.
Any arbitration required in connection with the Promotion shall take place in Houston, Texas, in accordance with the applicable rules of the American Arbitration Association, unless otherwise required by law. Any such arbitration shall be conducted on an individual basis and not as a class, consolidated, or representative action. The arbitrator’s decision shall be final and binding, and judgment on the award may be entered in any court of competent jurisdiction.
PRIVACY
Personal information submitted in connection with the Promotion will be handled in accordance with Sponsor’s privacy policy, available at https://www.estrellatv.com/es/radio/El-Norte-Houston, and may be used for purposes of administering the Promotion, verifying eligibility, contacting winners, fulfilling prizes, and as otherwise permitted by applicable law and Sponsor’s privacy policy.
