Estrella TV’s Premios De La Radio Ranks 3rd For The Evening & Becomes The Highest-Rated Program in the Network’s History

For Immediate Release: BURBANK, CA (November 18, 2013) – Estrella TV’s 14th annual Premios De La Radio emerged as the most viewed program to date and propelled the broadcast network to its highest rated prime time performance since it’s launch four years ago.  Estrella TV was #3 from 7p to 10p and #2 from 10p to 11p, beating Telemundo. 

Broadcasting live from the Dolby Theater in Los Angeles on Thursday November 14th , Premios De La Radio delivered a stunning 732,000 Persons 2+, 444,000 Persons 18-49, , 231,000 Persons 18-34, and 423,000 Persons 25-54. Estrella TV finished the night ranked #3 from 7P-11P among all demos (HH, P/M/F 18-34, 18-49, 25-54 and 2+).  That’s 47% growth in the A 18-49 demo and 60% growth in the A 25-54 demo from the 2012 awards show broadcast!  The 4 hour live event featured a who’s who of actors and musical talent, including the legendary Marco Antonio Solis performing with his own symphony orchestra.  Other highlights included several emotional tributes to the late Jenni Rivera with her family and children present and featured Estrella TV’s actors and comedians.  The show closed with a sneak peak at the Estrella TV original 10 part mini-series, “Jenni: La Vida de una Diva,” which premiered on Friday night and will air on Estrella TV for the next two weeks.

In the 10PM hour, Estrella TV ranked as the #2 Hispanic television network in the U.S. for the evening with a whopping 940,000 Persons 2+ and 585,000 Adults 18-49.  In addition, the Red Carpet averaged 176,000 Adult 18-49 viewers and was up 56% over the red carpet in 2012.
